Its not just for a new skill, it affects how companions see you and feel about you. It was mentioned there would be romance and also depending on your affinity with companions they can also leave you too. There is s just the affinity system is broke and hasn't been fixed by the Spell Force 3 team yet. It's like watching Lord of the Rings trilogy for the first time, you'll be sucked right in :D Spellforce 3 soul harvest romance full#But aside from romance, the game is full of emotions, it's backed up by very convincing voice actings, and it has great story. Originally posted by Nintendo:I don't think you can romance someone in Spellforce 3 but I could be wrong because I haven't finished the game. They are a nice tool to develop characters and relations in videogames, but in my opinion all those characters and relations don't really need it. who knows?īut to be honest I wouldn't mind if there were none in this game. So yeah, maybe there are romance options after all. I think only the affinity bar is broken, which is why we can't see the affinity until we put a point into that Haven't seen a romance option yet, only an npc that asked me more or less if there is someone I "like" in my team. ![]() while she agrees with my main character a lot, other companions disagree with him here and there.īut I think the affinity system isn't completely broken. However, I can't put points in the affinity perks of other companions yet, but I assume that this is because I usually see things like Yria. =( Are you sure it's broken? I'm asking, because I was able to put a point into Yria's affinity skill, after which the affinity bar got all yellow. In typing this I'm going to give a nod to the devs and state they got some good "Companion interaction" in place. That elf I mentioned approves or disproves of some of your statements. Technically the ability to do so is already there. And I see no reason companions can't turn on you in a RTS/RPG hybrid game at the end if you treated them like dirt (Or run off into the sunset with them). Multiple endings based on wherever you treated people well or badly would be interesting. All that matters if there's enough companion interaction or not for it to be possible. Doesn't matter what "type" of game it is. That is player to NPC companion interaction. There's certainty enough RPG-ness to do so. The fact that it is a hybrid game has nothing to do with that. Baldur's gate 1 didn't have the romance option. Spellforce tries to blend character building (levels, items, skills) with real time strategy and a story to drive the scenarios.ĭo use some common sense.
